Differential cross sections have been measured for the reaction ^65Cu(α,p) over the energy range 8 to 10 MeV. A 600 μg/cm^2 ^65Cu foil was used as the target. Excitation functions were extracted from the differential cross sections and compared with the statistical model^1 calculations. The data and the statistical model results have been used to calculate the S-factors for temperatures of astrophysical interests. ^Work supported by a grant from NASA-Indiana Space Grants Consortium. ^*Fellow, REU program.
