The radio source 4C 29.47 was observed with 5.3-arcsec resolution at 1465 MHz by the VLA. The S-shaped ridge line in the present contour map of 4C 29.47 was fitted by a precessing jet model from which the jet kinematic parameters were determined. The equipartition energy of the radio source is large enough (6000 solar masses c-squared) that the coherent precessing object at the core of 4C 29.47 must be far more massive than an ordinary star. The brightest knots in each jet appear at intervals of about 0.073 precession periods, suggesting that 4C 29.47 has a history of periodic or quasi-periodic outbursts.
