Three-dimensional, the next-generation near-IR spectrometer developed at
the Max-Plank-Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE), produces in
a single integration, a datacube of a 8 sec x 8 sec field characterized
by 0.5 sec resolution in image space and a resolving power of R = 1000
over the entire K-band in wavelength space.
