We review some recent results of three-dimensional smoothed particle
hydrodynamics (SPH) simulations of overdense, radiatively cooling jets
in star forming regions. We discuss the structure and kinematics of the
recently detected giant HH flows and also the interaction of HH jets
with dense, compact clouds of the ambient medium.
