We study radiation processes in an X-ray luminous galaxy cluster associated with a powerful, high redshift (z=1.063), radio-loud quasar 3C 186, observed with Chandra. The radio morphology shows two components, one of them connected with the core through a jet. The cluster's X-ray emission extends out to 500kpc from the quasar. If the age of the quasar is the same as the age of the radio source, 105 years, then the UV/X-ray photons emitted by the quasar influence the electron distribution in the cluster up to the radius of 150 kpc. We investigate the effect of quasar radiation on the electron heating/cooling processes in the cluster.
