We have simulated gas orbits in barred galaxies using the piecewise parabolic method (PPM) to solve the fluid equations. Following the work of Athanassoula, we use a Ferrer bar with an exponent of 1 to describe the gravitational potential of the stellar bar. The simulations are preformed in cylindrical coordinates to acheive better resolution near the galaxy's center. Highly resolved 2-D simulations will be presented for direct comparison with previous work. In addition, preliminary results of 3-D simulations will be given to study possible structure out of the galactic plane.
