A primary science driver is the ability of 2MASS to penetrate the obscuring dust and gas of the Milky Way, revealing galaxies never seen before in the "Zone of Avoidance" (ZoA). Tens of thousands of resolved 2MASS sources are found in the ZoA, a small fraction of which have mid-infrared (MIR) data from the Infrared Space Observatory (ISO). These MIR images (4 - 12 microns) and spectroscopy (64 and 160 microns) were mined from the ISOCAM and LWS parallel mode surveys. The resultant infrared SED is used to determined the foreground extinction, dust content and the morphological type of the object.
