Computational radiative gas dynamic (CFD/RGD) model intended for prediction of aerothermodynamics of space vehicles (SV) entering into planet atmospheres is presented. This model is based on equations of viscous, heat conducting, chemically non-equilibrium, radiating and emitting gas, and includes databases of thermodynamic, kinetic and radiation properties, which are sufficient for prediction of flow field parameters around SV entering into Martian atmosphere and re-entering into Earth atmosphere. Convective and radiative heating of three kinds of SV (Mars Sample Return Orbiter (MSRO), Pathfinder, and Segmental-Conical Space Vehicle (SCSV)) is computed and is analyzed.
