S. Ramya, M. Hegde, S. Arora, G.C. Anupama and U.S. Kamath (Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore) report spectroscopic observations of U Sco on 2010 January 29.02UT, 0.58d since discovery of the 2010 outburst. The observations were made with the HFSOC instrument on the 2m Himalayan Chandra Telescope at the Indian Astronomical Observatory, IIA, in the wavelength range 3500-9200 A and with a resolution ~1000.
