Differential photoelectric photometry of the delta Scuti star HR 5017
has been carried out. Period determination of the data shows one
frequency at 8.214 c/d that gives high statistical coefficients and
reproduces the observations well. This result indicates that this star
has maintained a stable period for a time span of 11 yr.
