The optically obscured compact H II region G 45.13 + 0.14 A has been observed from 2-4 micrometers both photometrically and spectroscopically. Spectral features observed include the B-alpha, B-gamma, and Pf-gamma hydrogen recombination lines, the He I line at 2.06 micrometers, and possibly the unidentified 3.28 micrometer feature. The strength of the HE I line implies that the nebula is ionization-bounded. The data confirm a previously described power law spectrum which increases toward longer wavelengths. A variety of reddening estimates indicate a visual extinction of 20 mag.
