V711 Tau at 18 cm was observed using the Arecibo telescope during a modest radio outburst on December 17, 1979. It is found that the emission from V711 Tau was more highly circularly polarized (predominantly left circular) than ever previously reported. The emission, especially in left circular polarization, was highly variable on a time scale of a few minutes.
