A new method to determine the s-process temperature is proposed based on the analysis of the abundance of 103Rh, whose first excited level is populated under stellar conditions with a high probability. This leads to a strong temperature dependence of neutron capture cross section of that nucleus. At the upper limit of the analysed temperature range kBT = 10 - 40 keV, the calculated 103Rh abundance is in a better agreement with the observed values for the atomic mass number region A ≍ 103 than at the lower limit.
