We have obtained 8 -- 18 mu m images through 1 mu m bandpass filters of Comet C/1995 01 Hale-Bopp on UT 1996 June 1 -- 12 and Aug 4 -- 7, using the SpectroCam-10 camera/spectrograph on the Palomar 5-m Hale Telescope. The June images reveal nightly variations in the brightness of the inner coma. A sharp jet of emission extended 5 arcsec N of the nucleus on two nights, June 4 and 9, but was much less prominent or absent on other nights. By August the comet had brightened by about a factor of two, but showed little nightly variation. The imaging data show a strong 10 mu m silicate feature above the 8 -- 18 mu m continuum, and allow the strength of the feature to be measured as a function of both position in the inner coma and time.
