The results of a 1.3 mm continuum survey of cold IRAS sources known to be associated with star formation regions are presented. A dozen sources were detected, eleven of which were mapped. By combining these observations with those of other observers and IRAS, the properties of the extended dust envelopes in which these IR sources are embedded can be studied.
