Scientific paper

The papers deal with nuclear reactions on the surface of the sun, the role of He-3 and solar flares in the formation of solar gamma quanta and neutrons, the solar neutrino problem, sources and the physical nature of galactic cosmic rays, variations in cosmic rays and the solar wind, acceleration of particles by magnetic and electric fields in stars and laboratory plasmas, and X-ray and gamma-ray astronomy. It is shown that solar flares may generate neutron streams and that binary star systems may be discrete sources of galactic cosmic rays. Individual items are announced in this issue.
