Solar Magnetic Fields: Network
Scientific paper
The authors begin with a brief review to the most recent observational studies of intranetwork elements. Next, by analyzing the well-observed quantities of magnetic elements, they pose that the magnetic fluxes of all elements are proportional to their lifetimes, mainly depending on their size. Then, the authors present an empirical way to extrapolate the size and magnetic field strength of intranetwork elements, and find that their average size is about 210 km and the corresponding field strength is 350 G.
