The distribution of the peak of the nu F_ν spectrum of Gamma Ray Bursts, Ep, and its correlation with fluence and peak flux, are necessary in understanding the nature of GRBs. We present the raw distribution of Ep observed by BATSE, this distribution corrected for detector selection effects, and the distribution of Ep obtained from Solar Maximum Mission (SMM) data, which extends to higher energies than BATSE. We find that the corrected BATSE distribution contains a significant number of high Ep bursts not observed by the detector. This result is quantitatively compared to the SMM Ep distribution. We then present correlations of Ep with fluence and peak flux, accounting for selection effects. We discuss these results in the context of both cosmological effects, as well an intrinsic correlation between Ep and peak flux or fluence at the GRB.
