The topics discussed are related to discrete sources, diffuse gamma-rays and the extragalactic component, high-energy gamma-rays and bursts, and gamma-ray lines and future prospects. Attention is given to the nature of the galactic 2CG gamma-ray sources, extended gamma-ray sources and active regions in the Galaxy, the second COS-B catalogue of high-energy gamma-ray sources, the search for soft X-ray and optical counterparts of selected COS-B gamma-ray sources, a statistical study of the distribution of gamma-ray sources, gamma-rays from cosmic-ray irradiated molecular clouds, the secular variation of the gamma-ray emission from PSR 0531+21, the gamma-ray emissivity of the local interstellar medium from correlations with gas at intermediate latitudes, low-latitude galactic gamma-ray emission, the evidence for high-energy gamma-ray emission from the Orion nebula stemming from COS-B observations, a comparison of the distributions of galactic gamma-radiation and radio synchrotron radiation, extragalactic gamma-rays, low-energy gamma-ray observations with the MISO telescope, prospects for gamma-ray imaging telescopes, and the atmospheric Cerenkov technique in gamma-ray astronomy.
