Results are presented from spectroscopic observations of galaxies Nos. 138 and 212, which have ultraviolet excesses and are listed by Kazaryan (1980). Both galaxies exhibit H I, and forbidden S II, O III, and O II emission lines. Both have Balmer decrement from gaseous nebulas, and galaxy No. 212 contains three superassociations, which indicates vigorous star formation. Equivalent widths along with relative intensities are determined for the emission lines observed in the two galaxies.
