TeV emission is a key diagnostic of physical processes occurring in a variety of Galactic objects. Detection of TeV emission from supernova remnants may resolve the long-standing question of whether hadronic cosmic rays are accelerated in supernova remnants. Measurement of the TeV spectra from inverse-Compton emission in pulsar-powered nebulae should permit determination of the nebular magnetic fields. And, observation of TeV gamma-rays from Galactic superluminal jet sources may lead to clues about the jet production mechanism, as has resulted from TeV observations of extra Galactic jet sources. VERITAS will offer unprecedented sensitivity for TeV observations of Galactic TeV emitting objects. We discuss observations of Galactic sources planned for VERITAS including a survey of a well-populated region of Galactic plane.
