This is a contingency proposal to monitor contamination in WFPC2 in the event of HST zero-gyro mode due to loss of another gyro. External observations are the best measure of contaminant buildup, however, since the aperture door would be closed, any monitoring must be done via internal observations - in this case, via the 'worm' features in the calchannel UV flats.
