The variability of GSC 003505-00677 [RA(2000) = 16h 31m 54.44s, DEC(2000) = 50d 21' 10.5"] was recently discovered by Robb, Greimel, and Ouellette (1997). It is an active very short period solar-type, eclipsing binary. The present standard UBV observations were taken with the Lowell 0.79m reflecting telescope on May 25, 26 and June 1, 1998. Five mean epochs of minimum light were determined from the observations made during three primary and two secondary eclipses by DF using the Hertzsprung technique (1928). These are 2450960.8880(3), 2450961.7235(4), 2450961.8652(5), 2450966.7466(11), and 2450966.8862(5). A precision linear ephemeris was calculated, using the available 16 timings of minimum light, J.D. Hel Min I = 2450633.9493(2) d + 0. 27895803 (31) X E. A simultaneous,UBV light curve analysis is presented for this interesting spotted contact binary. References: Hertzsprung, E. 1928, Bull. Astron.
