We have detected new planetary nebulae (PNe) through spectroscopic observations of a sub-sample of complete, color-selected radio sources. The sources are from the 1.4 GHz NRAO VLA Sky Survey (NVSS; Condon et al. 1998), which were matched with sources from the IRAS Faint Source Catalog (FSC; Moshir et al. 1989) for | b | > 10(deg) and the Point Source Catalog (PSC) for | b | <= 10(deg) . We then applied IR and radio color selection criteria, based on a region in the color-color diagram identified with PNe. We observed several of these sources on the Palomar 60({') '} telescope, and detected PN-like emission lines from almost all of them. Our sample is unique in that optical identification is secondary to radio and IR, which therefore makes our sample complete and eliminates many of the extinction biases present in typical PN catalogs. Future observations should yield many more identifications.
