The spectral energy distribution of nine A and B stars is obtained in absolute units. Six of the stars have V = 6.5m and, it is suggested that they be used as secondary spectrophotometric standards. An analysis of observational results is used to characterize the mean rms value in a calibration with reference to Alpha Lyrae in the 3-6% range. Attention is given to problems associated with the observation of bright stars using small telescopes, and limiting stellar magnitudes for spectrophotometric observations are evaluated.
