The B-8 solar neutrino capture cross sections are calculated for the newly proposed targets by using the statistical theory. It turns out that Bahcall's (1978) result for Br-81 underestimates the cross section by an order of magnitude. The present results are valuable for the comparison with the p-p, pep, and Be-7 solar neutrino capture rates by the same targets.
