A quantitative analysis of IDS spectrograms of six bright emission nebulae from the dust disk of NGC 5128, is described. The emission nebulae were separated into two groups. One is formed by normal giant H II regions near the outer rim of the dust disk excited by the radiation of visible O- and B- stars. The blue continuum of the exciting stars observed in one case is suggestive of the presence of Wolf-Rayet spectral features. The outer H II regions were found to have low temperatures of about 6500 K and were seen to be slightly overabundant in oxygen and nitrogen. The second group is formed by the inner emission nebulae, showing a strong red stellar continuum with a different emission line spectrum and a higher temperature than group one. The density, however, was found to be lower when compared with the outer H II regions, while the chemical composition also indicated a slight overabundance of oxygen and nitrogen.
