Pulsars: Pulse Profiles
Scientific paper
The effects of aberration, retardation and magnetic field sweep back are discussed to see their influences on the geometry asymmetry of the mean pulse profiles of pulsars due to the difference of the altitude of components for the core, inner cone and outer cone. The position of the components is shifted and geometry asymmetry of the mean pulse profile appears. Two pulsars, B1451-68 and J0437-4715, are analyzed as examples. The results show the different kind of geometry asymmetry for the two pulsars.
