Young massive clusters lose mass via stellar winds and supernova events. The resulting chemically-enriched cluster winds can have large-scale effects on their host galaxies. The basic models and recent theoretical developments for cluster winds are described. The question of whether the residual cluster gas is efficiently removed is addressed, and two examples are discussed, where massive star winds at low metallicity may be too weak to expel the natal gas. Recent HST/STIS observations of a young cluster and its environment in the starburst core of M82 are presented; they show that the high pressure environment may modify its cluster wind. The effects of winds at low metallicity and high ambient pressures are addressed and various questions raised.
