Data acquired with satellites is obtained by the astronomer either by writing a proposal for guest observations in which he determines what sources are to be observed or he makes use of data which is available through a data bank. A list of papers published by Mexican astronomers involving use of satellite data is included. The bibliography is divided into spectral bands: International Ultraviolet Explorer, X-ray observations and infrared satellites.
