New IR spectroscopic data from the central parsec of the Galactic Center show that the black hole believed to account for the nonthermal radio source Sgr A-asterisk, and already known to be an insignificant source of luminosity, is also not obviously associated with the broad-line gas. The components of the IRS 16 complex and a nearby source 8 arcsec south-east of IRS 16 have 2 micron spectra which are similar to young luminous stars found in significant numbers in the Magellanic Clouds. The new source has an IR spectral type of WN9/Ofpe, and may be unique in the Galaxy.
