Force-free fields in two-flux systems are numerically constructed in a semi-infinite space above a boundary plane. Two types of force-free field systems are investigated. In the first type, we consider interwinding two-flux systems, which can be generated by footpoint motions from a potential field in which two flux systems are nested so that one flux system takes a finite volume and the other takes the rest infinite volume. The second type comprises two-flux systems, which can be generated by footpoint motions from a potential field in which two flux systems are set side by side each taking an infinite volume. It is found that both types of force-free systems can have magnetic energy more than the corresponding open field energy. The two types of flux systems show different morphologies of S-shaped field structures and can be associated with different sigmoid configurations observed in eruptive active regions. Comparison with observations indicates that the threshold of the winding angle for eruption lies slightly above 2π . Dynamic evolutions leading to eruption will also be discussed.
