The Large Area Telescope (LAT), one of the two instruments on the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope, has detected a source positionally consistent with the High energy peaked BL Lac SHBL J001355.9-185406 (R.A: 00:13:56.054 Dec.: -18:54:06.48), recently detected above 300 GeV by the High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S., see ATEL # 3007 and references therein).
A preliminary analysis indicates a faint, hard source with a flux, averaged over 2 years of data, above 100 MeV of (0.9 +/- 0.7)x10^9 ph cm^-2 s^-1 and a photon index of 1.5 +/ 0.2 (errors are statistical only).
