Observations of J = 2-1 CO line emission from the bipolar outflow, and submillimeter dust emission from the central core, of the molecular cloud GGD 12-15 have been made with the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope. The blue shifted SE outflow lobe shows a conical structure with a clearly defined apex and evidence of limb brightening, suggesting that the outflow is predominantly confined to the wall of a conical cavity. The red shifted NW lobe by contrast reveals a much more chaotic structure with ridges and hot spots. The centroid of the submillimeter emission is offset from the axis of the outflow but coincides with the compact H II region in GGD 12-15. The 2.2-micron sources are located around the perimeter of the submillimeter emission. Despite their differing physical structure, the similarity of the mass, momentum and energy content of the two lobes suggests that they are powered by a single common source. The general similarity of the line shapes from different positions across the two outflow lobes suggests a local mechanism for the generation of the outflow in which a stellar wind accelerates numerous clumps which it eventually destroys.
