Associated with a flare that occurred just behind the west solar limb on 1981 August 3, a hard X-ray source (20 - 30 keV) and a microwave source at 5 GHz were observed simultaneously with the Hinotori spacecraft and the VLA. Both sources were located in the corona. The height of the centroid above the west limb was 15arcsec (104km) for the hard X-ray source and 54arcsec (4×104km) for the radio source. The sources are believed to be located near the tops of two independent coronal arcades or loops, one low and the other high, rather than at two different heights of a common arcade or loop.
