New observations of polarization of the light of the stars in the reflection nebula association Mon R1 are given. Of 17 stars investigated in the B photometric system, nine are cores of reflection nebulas. The star VY Mon is found to have a large polarization. The manner in which the polarization of the stars and the structure of the nebulas are related to the magnetic field of the cloud in which they are situated is discussed.
