We present a new orbit for the visual binary ADS 8630 = WDS12417-0127 = gamma Vir. A series of new relative measurements, using the PISCO instrument on the 102-cm Zeiss telescope at Brera-Merate Observatory in speckle imaging mode, has been made. The PISCO observations cover an arc of 130 degrees and include the periastron passage of 2005. We discuss the possibility of a third body in the system.
