We have identified 57 supernova remnant candidates in the southern starburst spiral M83 in a single field taken with the Wide Field Camera 3, based on their characteristics in H-alpha, [S II], H-beta, [O III] and [O II] images. We present a catalog of these remnants, and present measured sizes and H-alpha fluxes for the majority. We have derived the radiative ages, which lie in the range 2.62 < log(t/yr) < 5.0, and the pre-shock densities at the blast wave, which lie in the range 0.56 < (n/cm-3) < 1680. We find that there are two populations of SNR which can be divided into spiral arm and inter-arm populations, and we infer an arm to interarm density contrast of 4, characteristic of a strong density wave shock. We also find that the interstellar medium in the nuclear region of M83 is characterized by a very high porosity and pressure.
