We present a set hydrodynamic simulations of the evolution of the gaseous component of a low mass dwarf galaxy as it moves through a hot halo medium. These 2D and 3D grid-based simulations consist of wind tunnel experiments with both constant wind velocity and density as well as simulations with evolving wind characteristics to emulate the medium encountered by dwarfs during orbit around a more massive galaxy. The mass loss in the simulations are compared to the commonly analytical stripping criterium and the gas loss timescale is determined for various cases.
