We observed the Type IIn SN 2005kd (IAUC 8629, CBET 285) with the Very Large Array on Aug 14 2007 16.08 UT. We detect a radio source at 8.46 GHz frequency within 1 arcsec of the optical position at a flux density of 254 +/- 36 uJy. Further observations are in progress. We thank VLA staff for making these observations possible. The National Radio Astronomy Observatory is a facility of the National Science Foundation operated under cooperative agreement by Associated Universities, Inc.
