The usefulness of the strength of the lithium feature in a stellar spectrum as an indicator of age is discussed for F, G, and K stars in the PMS and ZAMS phases. Li is primarily useful for K dwarfs, where changes in Li with age are large, and up to 300 Myr. Inherent scatter in Li at a single age prevent it from being useful for single stars, but an ensemble with at least 10-20 members can be age-dated well.
