Because of gravitational lensing amplification and the steepness of the galaxy counts in the sub-mm and mm, we expect a strong correlation between CMB lensing and galaxy number counts. With the successful launch of Planck and initial results from small scale CMB experiments such ACT and SPT, we can anticipate CMB lensing maps that will probe the intervening distribution of mass. Herschel Space Observatory has begun its survey of the large-scale distribution of sub-mm dusty galaxies. We report the predicted cross-correlation signal between CMB lensing and galaxy number counts. Since the amplitude of the signal depends on the redshift distribution of the source lenses, we show that these cross-correlations can yield measurements of the mean redshift of the galaxy distribution.
