Gamma-Rays, Neutrinos
Scientific paper
Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are the most violent phenomena in the universe. There will be high energy particles that are accelerated in relativistic jets making GRBs. High energy protons and electrons can produce high energy neutrinos and gamma-rays. Discussed are possibilities of such high energy emission from GRBs. In particular, the focus is on high energy neutrinos as a probe of proton acceleration and delayed secondary gamma-rays that are produced when high energy gamma-rays from GRBs propagate in the universe.
