We will present recent results on a search for Intermediate-Mass Black Holes in Galactic globular clusters. The results come from HST photometry, as well as from kinematical measurements obtained both with the Gemini and the VLT telescopes. We first identify suitable candidates using surface photometry of the central regions of the clusters. The existence of central shallow cusps in the surface brightness profiles appears to be a good indication of the possible presence of a central black hole in star clusters. We obtain kinematical measurements in the form of individual radial velocities or of velocity dispersion from integrated spectra, which, combined with the density information we have from surface brightness profiles, is taken to produce dynamical models that test the presence of central black holes. We use non-parametrical models, both with the classic Jeans formalism and also with the more sophisticated Schwarzschild orbit-based method. We discuss our results in the context of recently discovered stellar populations peculiarities for some Galactic globular clusters.
