We analyze visual and CCD observations of west elongation of Venus,
collected by the UAI Planet Section during the year 2007/2008. A mean
rotation period of the clouds 4.1 +/- 0.7 days was found. An estimate of
the "Schroter effect" was also presented, resulting equal to 1 day (UV)
and 7 days (W44A filter).
