The Swift-XRT discovered a 35 s oscillation in the soft X-ray emission from RS~Oph during the 2006 outburst. The modulation first appeared shortly after the start of the Super Soft Source phase (day 32.82) and remained visible until the soft X-ray emission began its decline (day 65.92), though it was absent at some times during this interval. In the initial stages the oscillation period was not stable and was multi-periodic at times. We suggest nuclear burning driven pulsations are the most likely cause of the oscillation.
