We present evolution in the 0.12-3.4μm spectral energy distribution (SED) of the recurrent symbiotic nova RS Oph during its outbursts and quiescence. The observed SED was reconstructed by a method of disentangling the composite spectrum consisting of fluxes from the cool giant, hot stellar source (HSS) and nebula. By this way we determined temperatures, radii and luminosities of the HSS and giant, electron temperature and emission measure (EM) of the nebula. At the day 7.3 the HSS luminosity exceeded the Eddington luminosity by a factor of ˜13 and the nebula was characterized by a very large EM = (2.4± 0.2)× 10^{62} \cmt.
At day 55 (a plateau stage in the light curve [LC]) the HSS luminosity was below the Eddington one, but the nebula was still strong (EM = 1-3× 10^{61} \cmt). The period from about 77 to 115 days was characterized by a rapid fading of the nebular emission and during the following minimum in the LC (days ˜120-360) it was not detectable. Simultaneously the HSS became as warm as ˜25 000 K black body. During the following period (>360 days), the HSS radiation satisfied that from accretion disk with a large contribution in the optical (T_{disk}^{max} = 1.5-2× 10^4 K).
