We have analyzed Titan's northern swaths from the Cassini Radar, operated at 13.78 GHz (2.17 cm wavelength), in SAR mode and radiometry high resolution mode during SAR. We have examined the correlation between radar reflectivity and radiometric brightness at 20-km resolution and find evidence for unique signatures from different terrains. In particular we find that terrains surrounding the dark lakes in T16, have characteristics similar to mid latitude terrains observed in the Ta swath. Comparable and relatively low normalized radar cross section associated with intermediate brightness temperature set these terrains apart from other populations.
