We report on Swift observations of the AXP RXSJ170849.0-400910. We find that the source X-ray spectrum is slightly harder and the flux higher than the previous X-ray observation performed by XMM-Newton in 2003. An intensity-hardness correlation was discovered for this source, using XMM-Newton: the higher the flux the harder the X-ray spectrum. In particular, both the 1RXSJ170849.0-400910 flux and spectral hardness reached a maximum level close to the two glitches that the source experienced in 1999 and 2001, and then decreased again in close correlation. The new Swift observation confirms and strenghtens this correlation. Also, Swift catched the source in an epoch in which the trend has reversed: the flux increased and the spectrum became now harder again. If our spectral-based predictions are correct, we expect the source to show X-ray bursts and other glitches within a couple of years.
