Monitoring observations of the galactic center regions by the RXTE PCA reveal that the black hole candidate SLX 1746-331 has entered outburst again. The previous outburst was in 2003 (ATel #143). The 2-10 keV flux has increased from about 8 mCrab to 120 mCrab from Oct. 6.36 to Oct 10.41. The previous 95% upper limits had been about 2 mCrab. RXTE performed pointed observations on Oct 9.17 and Oct 10.72.
